ABOUT ME
I have been involved with reptile rescue for 6 years. After years of seeing the same sad story over and over again, I decided to start a program for children, educating them in the proper and safe care of these exotic animals.
One thing I didn't anticipate is how fascinated children can be with reptiles. I have seen parents amazed watching their child, who had a previous fear of dogs, gleefully holding a 6' boa constrictor. It is incredible how quickly children can learn, especially with the real thing in front of them.
I have worked as a camp counselor for many years and have experience working with children of all ages. My reptiles were brought to the Milliken Children’s Festival for 3 years and have had thousands of children handle them.
